The Retrovision Colonoscope is the first high-definition video colonoscope to feature a retroflex section.

The EC-3490TLi (RetroView™) has a shorter flex section (9.0 cm), greater toe flex (210 degrees in the upward direction), and a 25% smaller retroflex position diameter, which allows greater maneuverability for visualize more hidden polyps making it easier to navigate through the sharp twists and turns of a difficult colon.

Clinicians' early experiences using the EC-3490TLi video colonoscope (“RetroView™”) have indicated the potential for a dramatic increase in polyp detection* when retroflexed viewing of the proximal side of colonic folds is incorporated.

Remove more polyps.

With a 25% smaller retroflexion radius and 210 degree retroflexed angulation, the extra maneuverability may allow the user to more easily position the colonoscope for access to hidden polyps as well as complete resection of difficult polyps.

Improved efficiency.

The RetroView is a slim colonoscope with an angulation section that has a short radius of gyration, which may allow for fewer incomplete colonoscopies by easily navigating around the tight flexures and difficult-to-access areas of a difficult colon.
